Ingredients :

For the Red Velvet Brownies:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
1 ½ cups granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
One tablespoon of food coloring in red
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon white vinegar

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup (½ stick) unsalted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Method :

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and get ready to bake. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhangs for easy removal, and lightly grease.

Wet Ingredient Mixing: In a large basin, mix together brown sugar, granulated sugar, and melted butter until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla extract, red food coloring, and white vinegar, stirring until fully blended.

Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, sift flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Just combine the dry mixture with the wet components by gently folding them in, avoiding overmixing.

Baking Instructions: Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan. A toothpick inserted in the center of the cake should come out with a few moist crumbs after 25 to 30 minutes of baking.

To prepare frosting, combine softened cream cheese and butter in a medium-sized bowl and stir until smooth and creamy. Gradually mix in powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt, beating until smooth and fluffy.

Frost and Serve: Evenly cover the cooled brownies with the cream cheese frosting.. For neat slices, refrigerate for 30 minutes before cutting. Enjoy!
