Delicious layers of angel cake, sour cream pudding, cherry pie filling, whipped topping, and almonds make up the Heaven on Earth Cake. This cherry trifle, which is creamy and luscious, is guaranteed to satisfy everyone!
I quickly learned that the definition of heaven on earth cake is a layered icebox cake comprised of cubed angel food cake, vanilla pudding with sour cream, cherry pie filling, whipped topping, and toasted almond slivers.

You’ll be pleasantly delighted by how effortlessly tasty it comes out considering how easy it is to create. In fact, waiting for it to cool and solidify is the toughest part of the preparation.

Ingredients  :

1 box Angel food cake or 1 prepared Angel Food Cake
1 package (3.4 ounces) of instant vanilla pudding
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup sour cream
1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
1 tub (8 ounces) Cool Whip
1 tablespoon almond slivers, toasted

Method  :

Follow the baking instructions on the cake’s packaging. Cut into cubes after letting it cool.

Pudding mix, milk, and sour cream should all be combined in a bowl and smoothed out. Place aside.

Half of the cake cubes should be arranged in a layer in a 9 x 13 baking dish.

2/3 of the cherry pie filling should be poured over the cake.

Then cover the pie filling with the remaining half of the cake.

Spread the pudding evenly over the cake.

The whipping cream should be spooned and distributed over the pudding layer.

Add roasted almonds and the leftover pie filling as a garnish to the cake. For around 4 to 5 hours, chill.
