Macaroni in cheese sauce


I prepare a delicious dish using pasta in cheese and milk sauce. Both adults and children are happy with it. It is quick and easy to prepare. The highlight of the dish is the cheese sauce, which coats the entire surface of the pasta, making it incredibly tender and delicious


Ingredients :

450 gr – pasta
300 ml – milk
150 gr – cheese (hard)
50 gr – butter
1 tbsp – heaped flour
1 – pinch nutmeg
salt to taste

Method :

To prepare, take a deep dish I have a roasting pan. place the oil in a frying pan and melt over medium heat. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until it’s done

Add flour, immediately and quickly mix with a whisk. heat, stirring, for 10-12 seconds. There is little flour and butter, so the mixture can burn quickly

Pour in the milk and mix well with a whisk again

Cook, stirring, over medium heat until the sauce thickens a little. It will take about 3 minutes. The sauce should be runny. Add a little salt and a pinch of nutmeg (it gives the sauce a wonderful taste and aroma). This is bechamel sauce

Add coarsely grated cheese to the sauce

Heat and stir until the cheese melts. The cheese sauce is ready

Place the finished pasta in a colander (do not rinse), let it stand for 10-15 seconds, and immediately add it to the sauce

Mix well. The cheese sauce envelops the entire surface of the pasta (if you simply mix the pasta with cheese, there will be no such effect), due to this the dish turns out juicy with a rich creamy cheese taste

Transfer the finished pasta in cheese sauce to plates, sprinkle with finely grated cheese if desired, and serve. This is a very tasty and aromatic dish
