Best Chinese chicken in sweet and sour sauce

350 gr – Chicken fillet
4 tbsp – Starch
100 ml – Soy sauce
Vinegar – 1 tbsp
1 tbsp – Sugar
Vegetable oil – 100 ml –
2-3 cloves – Garlic
Salt – to taste
Black pepper – to taste

Method :

After cleaning and drying, slice the chicken fillet into little pieces.

Place the chopped fillet in a deep bowl, salt and pepper to taste, and add 3 tbsp. starch. Stir

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, add chicken pieces and fry on all sides over high heat for about 10 minutes

Remove chicken from the pan

In the same frying pan where the chicken was fried, pour soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, sugar, and chopped garlic. Bring to a boil on a gentle burner

1 tbsp. Dilute starch in a glass of cold water

Pour the diluted starch into the pan. Simmer for a few minutes to get a thick consistency

Return the chicken to the pan and stir. Simmer over low heat for around 10 minutes
